At Dandylion Publishing, we offer a bespoke service to unpublished writers looking for eager eyes to read their novels. We will read and assess your submission on an individual, one-to-one basis, provide you with constructive feedback, and then publish your book on our readers page for the world to see. Our readers can peek through your first three chapters for free. If they like it, they can purchase the rest of your book. This means that you get paid for your work and, unlike some other online publishing companies, we will never get paid more than you do.

We love our authors and love their books, but if you need to know more about why you should choose us, please do not hesitate to contact us at

Dandylion Publishing is an independent online publishing company. Our mission is to provide  a safe, profitable platform for new, unpublished authors.

Gone are the days when a new author would painstakingly send their lovingly-crafted manuscript to as many publishing houses as possible, in the hope that it might land on an executive's desk, appeal to one of the big names and end up in every major bookstore in the country. Essentially entering into the author's lottery like every other writer in the land.

Now, authors can self-publish on big websites at the click of a button, throwing their hard work into the vast library of other works, hoping for the best. Often without any professional editing, creative help or established marketing plan, these new books get swallowed up in the masses or the big retailer sucks up any profit novels make with huge comission rates. That's assuming the book gets noticed at all.

Readers are also presented with a bottomless pit of novels of unpredictable quality and have to embark on a pot-luck, reviewer-based selection process with no idea if the money they are about to pay will result in a good read.

This inspired Dandylion Publishing into fruition. New authors needed a place to go where they can get constructive feedback, editing and proofreading help, marketing advice and general guidance towards getting their book ready and available to the public. They also needed somewhere to publish their work without foregoing their profits.

Readers needed a platform which provides pre-approved novels, which have been vetted and reviewed, so they know they are going to download a quality book every time at a reasonable price.

These requirements make up the DNA here at Dandylion. Our policies ensure that we never make make more commission on a book than the author themselves and every single book is read and reviewed by one of our agents before it is published, to make absolutely sure our readers will have an enjoyable experience.

The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid.
